You arrived before the night
In waning daylight, impatient,
but you can’t hide from sight
Friendly faces of the night
Your dust is us; all things are shared
Yet I am here, and you are out there
Shining brightly, while I barely glow
I wonder if you even know
But as all we are one; the vastness
expanding beyond the hidden sun
Never truly gone, just hidden; rest
A blaze of glory when the day is done
Stoic Poetry
Lovely! 🙂
