You always taught me,
to stand up strong,
when I saw wrong,
and this is so wrong
Mother I just got tired
Say you won’t forget me,
but I had to leave you,
and now I’m long gone
I had to find out who I am,
and here I finally am
Let me go, you can’t win
I am, but I never was
If I had the nerve to say
the words on my mind,
would it change a thing at all
Say you won’t forget my face
