Young, carefree, innocent,
You sing, laugh and dance,
Taking in all of life’s glory
At every single chance
Now you’re all grown up,
You ignore the wonders
That you cherished as a child
No longer carefree as you plunder
You live life with blinders on
running the race of greed
not caring who gets hurt
fulfilling your selfish needs
Stoic Poetry
Blind and lost…
