Holding On

Holding tightly to what I know
Piece by piece it falls apart
I try to keep it all the same
Afraid to let it go

I have seen so much in this life
Blinders only hide so much
Wrapped up in my own life
Full of fear and strife

Through open cracks truth finally flows
The walls are falling around
Littered lies upon the ground
Tears for what I chose
